Geopolitics and Numeric Transactions Conference Poster<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The second conference poster I made is about geopolitics and numeric transactions. We invited several companies such as Thales,<\/em> as well as Kav\u00e9 Salamatian<\/em>, a professional conference speaker to talk about geopolitics, blockchain and netbanking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To\nillustrate the geopolitics in relation with the numeric, I used wireframe\nmodels of the statue of liberty and the Eiffel tower. The monuments represent\ntwo of the world powers (here France and USA) and the wireframes refers to the\nnumeric version of said monuments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the blockchain, I used a world map to which I applied a binary string snipping mask, to show the importance of digital information in this era. I also drew lines connecting countries to represent the transactions and the connections resulting from the blockchain, but removed it because it cluttered the poster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for\nthe stock market numbers in the background, they refer to the net banking theme\nof the conference, as well as the blockchain and everything that involves\nendless circulation of money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, I used Advanced Dot Digital-7 <\/em>font to emphasize on the digital theme of the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Color Choices<\/h2>

<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Having\nlearned from my mistake of using a vivid color for the whole poster I decided\nto use a darker and softer blue more pleasing to the eyes for the background\nand only use a bright blue for the accents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I decided\nto choose a blue-green shade for the background. The blue represents the stock\nmarket screens background color and the green represents the color of money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conclusion<\/h2>

For a long time, it was the poster I was most proud of because the color was very soothing, but the accents of color still caught attention. Moreover, it\u2019s way cleaner than the previous poster while retaining at least as much sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
